News.com.au article - The 16 foods people spell wrong all the time
I thought this was an interesting article which appeared online today. How many of the food related words do you struggle with. I have to admit it took a trip to English before I finally realised the correct way to say Worcestershire. So obvious once your realise.

I thought it was interesting that I noticed this article appeared on the Optus site and they gave credit to the Huffington Post site.

I find it interesting how the same article is reprinted across the world. The marvels of modern technology. Even more marvellous just how easy it is for us to know.
Also of interest is the Huffington Post article had 17 words. I decided to investigate. The word not included in the Australian article was 'restaurateur'.
ReplyDeleteFor me what also caught me attention was the secondary spelling variations used in the article for misspelled and spelled. The preferred spelling in Australia is misspelt and spelt.
